The benefit of having gained so much experience/failed so much from my previous enterprises is that you get to learn lessons. Hard lessons!

However for me the most important lesson I have learnt over the past 11yrs is this.

1. What if your grand idea doesn’t work?

With this in mind, I believed that I should have a more “local” plan for my cartoon characters. I mean at the end of the day even a pilot with Disney doesn’t guarantee anything.

Seemed like a good idea at the time folks.

So me and a couple of friends came up with our #nopeacenoswag campaign. (R & D doesn’t end)

Now this little R & D set me back by 400k (studio time, artists, feeding the artists, twitter promotion etc.)

#rant…and I don’t have furniture in my sitting room. I swear this hypomania is getting the better of me.#rant

So we got feedback from folks online and it seems what we are brewing is quite cool. We even have some oyinbo people following us on twitter and Facebook.

Feedback aside, it was a fucking total waste of money! #stillLearning
